Westchester Homebrewers Round 4 Results: Last Brewer Standing Challenge

The Westchester Homebrewers recently concluded the fourth round of this year’s Last Brewer Standing Challenge, and it was an exciting showdown with a three-way tie for first place.

Vlad’s Tropical Stout, Fred & Mike’s Imperial Pumpkin Ale, and Steven & Cesar’s Chocolate/Orange Imperial Stout all scored an impressive 10.9. Ken’s Coffee Seltzer earned a solid score of 8.2, while Tim’s Chocolate & Vanilla Stout scored 10.5. Scott’s Cech Dark Lager was also well-received with a 10.3.

Kathy & Jen’s Irish Stout received an 8.2, and TJ & Brendan’s Barrel Aged Stout scored 9.1. Once again, the variety and quality of brews this round truly showcased the club’s creativity and skill of our local homebrewers.

With this being the last of the open rounds, here are the top 5 overall scores and brewers invited to enter the final Invitational Round, which will be held at the Christmas/Holiday Party on December 17 (details to follow), the theme of which is coffee or tea infused beers:
